Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Valencia. Prof. Sanz’s main line of research has revolved around the evolution of the Spanish right and the articulation of the Franco dictatorship, studying the counterrevolutionary radicalization of the thirties, the Falangist political culture, national views linked to Francoism and the center-periphery relations in the dictatorship, in transnational perspective and compared to the Italian case. Prof. Sanz is co-director of the Collection “Història i Memòria del Franquisme” of Publicacions de la Universitat de València.
