Associate Professor of Contemporary History at the Complutense University of Madrid since 2021. In 2002, she received the Blas Infante Research Prize for “Women in War: Almería, 1936-1939,” and in 2004, she earned her doctorate cum laude with a thesis on the Falange Women’s Section. She has conducted research stays in the United States (Women’s Studies Center, FIU) and Canada (Trent University), and in 2021, she was honored by the Society for the History of Children and Youth. She is currently a member of the board of directors of the Spanish Association for Women’s History Research and of the groups “Gender Relations in the Contemporary World: An Interdisciplinary Perspective from History, Geography, and Law” and “Civil War and Francoism” at the UCM.
