I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Modern and Contemporary History at the Complutense University of Madrid. Previously, I was a contracted postdoctoral researcher (Atracción de Talento Investigador-CAM) at the Department of Contemporary History at the UAM and at the Department of History, Political Theories and Geography at the UCM. My doctoral thesis (2017) received the Extraordinary Doctoral Thesis Award (UAM) and I was awarded the International Prize for Intellectual History in Latin America (awarded by AHILA, 2018). I am a member of the Institute for Feminist Research at the UCM. As IP1, I co-directed, with Dr. López Zapico, a project on the relations between European and Latin American dictatorships. I have completed several research stays abroad or as a visiting professor, including those at the University of California, Los Angeles, Freie Universität Berlin, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and the University of São Paulo.
